Two for flinching

Ahhhh, it feels good to be posting something finished again.
A super quick editorial illusrtation about manic depressives having electrodes implanted into their brains to regulate mood.
I only had a week to do this one, Eep 0__o.

Part one in a series for class. We had to do a character portrait of a protagonist, so I decided to do Danny from "The Shining."
Part two coming soon!

I love both of these, but you already know that because I peered over your shoulder while you did them! :)

I never saw this in crit but, regarding the first one, I think that comic dot-tone looks a little bit awkward on the figure. It works in the background nuerons, and for sake of consistancy and depth it might of looked good to add them, only bigger, to the ones in the forground. The figure us well drawn enough and simple that the addition of the tone a bit distracting. Other than that, great job

Yeah, I wanted to have even bigger one color tonal dots on the foreground nuERONS (haha), but I couldn't for the life of me remember how to do that in photoshop. Methinks I'll go rework this one now :)
